A man was allegedly attacked with a knife at a Wetherspoon pub in Sheffield, specifically inside the Bankers Draft Pub in the city center on June 21 around 9:53 pm. Police responded to the incident and have since released a CCTV image of a man they are seeking to identify.
The CCTV footage depicts a man in dark shorts and a brown shirt drying his hands in the restroom. Authorities are urging anyone who may recognize the individual to come forward with information to aid in the investigation.
Following the stabbing, the pub was cordoned off by South Yorkshire Police. The police department released a statement requesting assistance in locating the man captured in the CCTV images. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact 101 and reference incident number 1088 dated June 21.
This incident is currently under investigation, and the police are actively seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual involved in the assault.
