A self-proclaimed traditional healer has declared his intention to cast a spell on Harry Kane in a bid to enhance his country’s chances in the upcoming World Cup match between the two nations. Nana Kwaku Bonsam, a renowned witch doctor from Ghana, asserts that he previously utilized his mystical powers to assist Ghana during the 2014 World Cup by reportedly causing a knee injury to Cristiano Ronaldo.
The witch doctor, known as the “Devil of Wednesday,” has stated that he plans to employ similar magic to hex England’s captain as Ghana prepares to face England in the World Cup on June 23. Nana, speaking to the Daily Star, expressed his confidence in his abilities, emphasizing that he aims to hinder Kane’s performance without causing serious harm, solely to benefit Ghana.
Nana attributes his magical prowess to the Kofi Oo Kofi shrine and identifies himself as ‘Africa’s only Authentic Man,’ offering services such as rituals, guidance, spiritual healing, and protection. In 2014, he claimed responsibility for a knee injury that jeopardized Cristiano Ronaldo’s participation in the World Cup, leading up to Portugal’s match against Ghana.
Detailing his method, Nana mentioned creating a special powder from divine sources, blending it with various leaves and mixtures, which he placed around an image of the former Manchester United star. Despite Nana’s assertions, Ronaldo had been dealing with a pre-existing knee condition before the tournament, but still managed to play against Ghana, scoring the winning goal in Portugal’s 2-1 victory.
Nana stands by his spiritual practices, stating that he can inflict injuries that conventional medicine cannot cure due to their spiritual nature.
