Lady Marina Windsor weds Nico Macauley in Yorkshire

Lady Marina Windsor has recently exchanged vows with Nico Macauley, an account executive, in a picturesque church ceremony. Lady Marina, a granddaughter of the Duke of Kent and a second cousin once removed to King Charles, has been a familiar face at various royal gatherings. The intimate wedding and reception in North Yorkshire were attended by family and friends of the couple, who gathered to celebrate the joyous occasion.

The bride looked stunning in a custom-designed wedding gown by Larissa Von Planta, complemented by a veil made of antique Hapsburg lace and a historic tiara once owned by her great-grandmother, Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark. Notable guests at the wedding included Princess Alexandra’s granddaughter, Flora Vesterberg, and Lady Gabriella Windsor, among others.

Lady Marina’s parents, George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews, and Sylvana Tomaselli, were visibly moved as they witnessed the ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place at All Saints Church in Hovingham, followed by a reception at the family estate of Lady Marina’s late grandmother, the Duchess of Kent, in North Yorkshire.

Having announced their engagement a year earlier, Lady Marina and Macauley, who works as an account executive at Zscaler, had been in a relationship for two years before deciding to tie the knot. Lady Marina, born in 1992, was previously in line to the throne but relinquished her position to join the Roman Catholic Church in 2008.

Lady Marina’s wedding is part of a series of royal celebrations this year, including the recent marriage of Princess Anne’s son, Peter Phillips, to NHS nurse Harriet Sperling. The royal family graced the ceremony with their presence, marking another memorable royal union.
