“Tragic Death: Child Found Dead in Hot Car in France”

Another tragic incident has occurred in France, where a child lost their life after being locked inside a car during extremely high temperatures. The three-year-old was found deceased by his parents in Saint-Gratien, a suburb north of Paris. Emergency services were alerted around 7pm when the child was discovered in cardiac arrest inside the family vehicle as temperatures soared to 39C in the area. Despite efforts by firefighters to resuscitate him, the child could not be saved.

Reports indicate that the child had locked himself inside the car without informing anyone while it was parked outside their residence. His parents noticed his absence after approximately 45 minutes, during which he had mentioned wanting to take a nap. Although they had directed him to his room to rest, for unknown reasons, he chose to lock himself in the car.

Upon realizing the situation, the mother’s distress alerted a passing bus driver who promptly intervened by providing initial aid until emergency services arrived. This tragic incident follows the recent deaths of two other children, aged two and four, who were found unresponsive inside a car during the ongoing heatwave in France, where temperatures have exceeded 40C.

The heatwave gripping Europe has led to unprecedented temperatures, prompting significant alerts and repercussions across multiple countries. Tragically, there have been at least 48 drowning deaths in France due to individuals seeking relief from the heat in water bodies. Additionally, a 79-year-old man in Saint-Gratien was found in cardiac arrest at his residence and could not be revived, possibly linked to the extreme weather conditions.
