Donald Trump kicked off America’s 250th anniversary festivities with a highly partisan event featuring Kash Patel’s girlfriend singing the national anthem. The event, though extravagant and grandiose, was unmistakably a Trump rally and not a nonpartisan celebration.
Initially, Trump’s 250th celebration committee attempted to organize a musical event, but most artists backed out, leaving only Vanilla Ice. Consequently, Trump replaced the concert series with a rally, dubbing it “the rally to end all rallies.”
Despite this, Trump is planning another rally on the national mall just half a mile away on July 4. In Trumpworld, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy made an odd appearance, advocating for more families and criticizing those focused on education and careers. He also insulted the artists who withdrew from the event.
At the event, Trump supporters could visit the Freedom Truck, an educational exhibit touring the country, showcasing American history with a predominantly white representation. Trump’s focus has shifted to opposing democratic socialist candidates, labeling them as communists and emphasizing the importance of the SAVE America act to prevent communist influence.
The SAVE America act aims to restrict voting through measures like strict photo ID requirements and limitations on mail-in voting, perpetuating the false narrative of widespread election fraud. Trump has refused to sign a bipartisan housing bill until the SAVE America act is passed, causing chaos among Republican lawmakers.
During a Q&A session, Trump commented on potential UK leadership changes, expressing skepticism of the liberal leanings of potential successors and advocating for drilling in the North Sea. Trump’s longstanding opposition to wind farms also influenced his views on energy policies.
