A 15-year-old adolescent accused of sexual offenses involving eight girls, one of whom was 10 years old, has made a court appearance at Wellingborough Youth Court. The charges against the boy include rape and sexual assault against the victims, who were between the ages of 10 and 15 at the time of the alleged incidents.
Due to his age, the teenager’s identity remains undisclosed. He is facing a total of 22 charges related to incidents that reportedly took place between 2023 and 2025. During a brief 20-minute hearing, he did not enter any pleas. Accompanied by his mother, he sat at the rear of the courtroom without being asked to approach the dock.
The accused is charged with multiple counts, including sexual assault on a female, assault on a girl under 13 by touching, and rape of a girl under 13. Additionally, he faces charges of assaulting a female over 13 through penetration, raping a girl aged 13-15, and producing indecent images of a child.
Further accusations against him include possession of prohibited images of a child and extreme pornographic material. District Judge Amar Mehta deemed the case too severe for the youth court and transferred it to Northampton Crown Court. The teenager is scheduled to appear at the crown court on August 18 and has been granted conditional bail, which includes restrictions on contact with the alleged victims and unsupervised interaction with females under 16, along with engagement with the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Service.
During the hearing, the boy only confirmed his personal details and inquired about the Youth Justice Service.
