“Get a Free LG Smart TV with Virgin Media’s Limited-Time Offer”

Virgin Media is currently running a special promotion offering free smart TVs in a limited-time sale. The offer, which began on May 18, allows customers to receive a complimentary £250 LG Smart TV when they sign up for one of four Virgin TV and broadband packages. These packages include a variety of features such as hundreds of channels, free Netflix, and the option to add Sky Sports and Cinema coverage. The available packages are Virgin’s Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt bundles.

Customers who take advantage of this promotion can choose between a 43” LG Ultra HD smart TV valued at £249.99 or a £125 bill credit, providing significant savings on their service costs. To qualify for this offer, customers must claim it before 11.59 pm on May 27.

Virgin Media’s TV packages offer over 200 channels and a complimentary Netflix subscription. The Cinema bundle, priced at £44.99, includes full Sky Cinema access and 362Mbps fibre broadband. For sports enthusiasts, the Sport bundle at £54.99 replaces Sky Cinema with full Sky Sports coverage. Customers can also combine both packages in the Sport + Cinema bundle for £64.99, which includes a broadband speed upgrade to 512Mbps. The premium Max Volt bundle, priced at £76.99, offers more than 230 TV channels, including Sky Cinema and Sky Sports, as well as Netflix, 1,130Mbps broadband, and an unlimited O2 SIM.

In addition to the TV promotion, Virgin Media has introduced the One Touch Switch scheme for new customers, simplifying the switching process by handling communications with their previous provider. It’s important to note that Virgin’s monthly prices increase by £4 each April, so customers should consider this when committing to a 24-month contract.

Meanwhile, competitor Sky has launched a sale ahead of the World Cup, reducing the cost of its Glass smart TVs to as low as £4.50 per month. The Sky Glass Air model starts at £4.50, while the more advanced Sky Glass Gen 2 model is available from £11 per month. Amazon has also unveiled its updated Fire TV lineup, including the new Ember Artline model, offering significant discounts to compete with Samsung’s The Frame TV.

Virgin Media has garnered positive reviews from customers who have praised the brand for its high-speed broadband and value-for-money TV packages. Users have highlighted the smooth installation process, fast internet speeds, and extensive channel options. Despite some minor registration issues reported by a few customers, many have expressed satisfaction with their overall experience with Virgin Media.
