Amid the ongoing cost of living challenges in the UK, many Brits are keen on selecting the perfect dining spot for their meals out. Making sure every penny spent on dining is worth it has become a top priority.
To explore this, I visited ASK Italian to sample their fresh spring menu offerings. ASK Italian has unveiled new dishes that embody the essence of Italian feasting, such as the Truffle Honey Prosciutto Pizza A Mano. Additionally, the revamped drinks menu showcases playful cocktails like the Pepperoni Negroni, Hot Honey Margarita, and Cherry Limoncello Meringue Cocktail.
Customers can now enjoy three sides for £12 as part of the new menu promotion. Moreover, diners can receive a complimentary Spritz of their choice on each visit in May by simply downloading and signing up for the ASK Perks Rewards App.
Opting for the Bruschetta Pizzetta as a starter, I relished the combination of stone-baked Wildfarmed dough with pomodoro sauce, slow-roasted tomatoes, rocket, ricotta salata, and balsamic glaze.
The Crispy Pepperoni nibbles that the manager offered as a pre-starter turned out to be surprisingly addictive, enhancing the dining experience.
For the main course, I indulged in the Pollo Roquito pizza, featuring roast chicken breast, Roquito pepper pearls, balsamic red onions, Fior di Latte mozzarella, crispy prosciutto, and rocket. The well-balanced toppings on the light and airy dough showcased the quality ingredients used.
The Sea Bass alla Mediterranea, oven-baked with slow-roasted tomatoes, black olives, and capers, served on a bed of roasted potatoes, mushrooms, and spinach in a buttery white wine sauce, was another delightful main course option. The perfectly cooked sea bass paired harmoniously with the rich sauce and savory capers and olives.
The variety of three sides for £12 included the Bolognese Bites, Hot Honey Luganica Sausages, and Seasoned Roast Potatoes, with the sausages standing out as a personal favorite.
To cap off the meal, we savored the Chocostachio Bomb dessert, a light and velvety chocolate and pistachio mousse encased in a golden Italian meringue.
The Hugo Spritz and Hot Honey Margarita Italiana cocktails provided a delightful finish to the dining experience, offering a perfect blend of flavors.
Overall, the innovative spring menu at ASK Italian impressed with its fresh offerings and enticing deals, making it a standout choice for quality Italian cuisine. The impeccable service further enhanced the dining experience, leaving me eager to return with friends in the near future.
