“American Service Members Killed in Iranian Attacks”

Two American service members were killed, and another is missing after Iranian missile and drone attacks, as confirmed by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) in Jordan. The casualties were reported yesterday and announced at 6.21pm BST today.

According to CENTCOM, the deaths occurred during the defense against Iranian attacks. Additionally, four injured service members were evacuated to Jordanian hospitals for medical treatment. One soldier is still missing, while the others have been released after treatment.

CENTCOM refrained from disclosing further details, including the identities of the deceased, out of respect for their families until 24 hours after notifying the next of kin. The Iranian Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, criticized the US President’s actions in a recent statement, calling them “worthless.”

The US military recently completed its seventh consecutive night of strikes on Iran, targeting various sites including surveillance facilities, military infrastructure, weapons storage, and maritime capabilities. CENTCOM emphasized that these actions were in line with the Commander in Chief’s directives to hold Iran accountable and enforce a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
