Construction workers in Poland made a shocking discovery of 29 unborn babies’ bodies at a family home. The workers unearthed the remains while excavating a driveway on private property, leading to the apprehension of a 52-year-old woman. The suspect is under investigation for desecration of a corpse and illegal disposal of hazardous waste, potentially facing a prison term of two to 12 years.
Authorities also found a significant amount of medical waste, including paraffin blocks and microscope slides, at the location. The property owners, in the midst of renovations, informed the police about the find, prompting a thorough search that is expected to continue for several days.
The incident triggered a large-scale emergency response, with ongoing excavation efforts by law enforcement. Reports indicated that the District Prosecutor’s Office in Rzeszów received initial information about the medical waste discovery on the property back in June. Medical experts confirmed that the remains were human fetuses, or fragments thereof, found at the scene.
