Two individuals were stabbed, and a woman was assaulted in a violent incident that occurred in a Tesco parking lot. The disturbing event took place on Leeholme Road, Billingham, County Durham, around 9:35 pm on Monday night. The victims were targeted by a group riding electric bikes and a quad bike, which caused damage to a black Hyundai Tuscan in the parking area.
The assailants proceeded to drag the occupants of the vehicle out and physically assault them. The female driver was punched in the face, while two men were forcibly removed from the car and attacked. Fortunately, the injured men were taken to the hospital with stab wounds but are expected to recover. A fourth individual in the car was unharmed during the altercation.
Following the incident, a police investigation has been launched, urging any witnesses or individuals with relevant footage to come forward. Cleveland Police released a statement detailing the events and requesting public cooperation in providing information related to the attack. The area was secured by authorities overnight, but operations returned to normal by the following morning.
