“UK Heatwave: Temperatures Soar, 36C Expected Tomorrow”

The UK is currently experiencing a heatwave with temperatures continuing to rise, and meteorologists are anticipating even hotter weather tomorrow.

According to the latest forecast from the Met Office released today, the temperature could hit 35C in southern areas and 31C in the north today. Tomorrow, temperatures are expected to climb to 36C in the south and 33C in the north.

The GFS weather model also predicts similar highs for tomorrow, with a possibility of reaching 36C in southern and western England. Regions like Yorkshire could see temperatures as high as 33C, while the south-east around London may experience 35C.

Temperature anomaly maps for tomorrow indicate that a large part of the UK will face temperatures significantly above the seasonal average, with deep red and black areas showing the extent of the heat.

The GFS weather model highlights that seven counties in England could reach 36C tomorrow, emphasizing the widespread heat impact.

Despite the high temperatures, the Met Office warns of possible heavy rain in the north-west tomorrow. While there is a slight chance of showers elsewhere, most areas are expected to remain dry and sunny.

Looking ahead to the weekend, the Met Office predicts highs of 35C in the south on Saturday and 32C in the north. By Sunday, temperatures are forecasted to drop slightly to 33C and 29C respectively.

For the weekend, an easterly breeze is expected, bringing cloud cover to eastern coasts while the west enjoys sunnier and hotter conditions. There is a chance of showers in the southwest on Monday.

The prolonged heatwave conditions are anticipated to gradually ease next week, although temperatures will remain warm. The Met Office projects that many areas will stay in the mid-to-high 20s, still above average for this time of year, with the highest temperatures shifting further north and west as high pressure moves across the UK.
