Two individuals, a man, and a woman have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a deceased woman at a hotel in Liverpool. The incident unfolded at The White Star Line Hotel in central Liverpool after the North West Ambulance Service alerted the police just past 3:20 am on Saturday. Emergency services were informed that a 40-year-old woman had fallen ill, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
Tragically, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and her family has been notified. Authorities have classified the woman’s passing as unexplained, pending the outcome of a post mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death, with the toxicology report results yet to be disclosed.
A 47-year-old male from Kirkby and a 34-year-old female from Liverpool have been apprehended on suspicion of murder, while a 31-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested for allegedly aiding an offender. The trio has been provisionally released as investigations continue.
