Donald Trump has reported that his recent medical examination indicated everything was in “perfect” condition. The US president shared on Truth Social that he had just completed his biannual physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center, with all results coming back as flawless. Trump expressed gratitude to the medical team and staff before heading back to the White House. However, specific details were not disclosed.
Turning 80 on June 14, Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre in Bethesda, Maryland, for his yearly check-up. This marked his third visit to the medical facility within a span of 13 months.
This examination follows a year of public scrutiny over minor health concerns involving Trump. Reports in July 2025 highlighted issues like swollen ankles and a bruised hand, which was camouflaged with makeup. Recent photos also revealed a rash on his neck.
White House physician Sean Barbabella mentioned in March that Trump was using a common cream for a preventive skin treatment to address the neck rash. Nevertheless, the physician did not elaborate on the specific condition.
Last October, Trump mentioned undergoing a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan, initially not disclosed by the White House. Later, it was revealed that the MRI was part of his second physical examination, with Leavitt stating it showcased Trump’s “exceptional physical health.”
Medical experts have pointed out that MRIs are not customary in routine check-ups and are typically reserved for detailed body scans.
In a post-exam memo, Barbabella noted that Trump’s cardiac age, determined from ECG readings, was about 14 years younger than his actual age, signifying robust cardiovascular health.
