“Teen Darts Sensation Luke Littler Invites Prince William to PDC World Championship”

Luke Littler recently shared that he extended an invitation to Prince William for the upcoming PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace. The 19-year-old met the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle last week during his MBE award ceremony as a rising star in the world of darts.

During their conversation, Littler mentioned that Prince William expressed interest in attending an evening at Ally Pally, calling it a promising outing. The two-time world champion then extended a warm invitation to the future king to join the championship event.

Reflecting on their interaction, Littler mentioned that Prince William acknowledged following the darts scene’s growth and expressed his appreciation for the sport’s popularity surge. Although Littler did not formally invite him, he assured that both himself and the PDC would gladly provide tickets if the Prince desired to attend.

Prince William, known for his fondness for football, recently celebrated Aston Villa’s victory in the Europa League, where he commended the team’s exceptional performance on social media. Villa defender Matty Cash shared that the Prince joined the team in celebration, highlighting his unwavering support for the club.

While it remains to be seen if Prince William will develop a similar passion for darts, Littler described the opportunity to converse with him as an extraordinary experience. Grateful for the recognition he received alongside renowned figures like Cynthia Erivo and Matt Lucas at Windsor Castle, Littler emphasized his dedication to advancing his sport and the overwhelming positive response he has received.

Looking ahead, Littler is focused on reclaiming the Premier League Darts title, aiming for his second win in his burgeoning career. He is set to compete against Gerwyn Price in the semi-final, with the possibility of facing either Jonny Clayton or Luke Humphries in the final. Littler expressed his determination to reach the finals once again and emphasized the competitive spirit driving his pursuit of success in the sport.
