Rock Singer Sass Jordan Dies at 63

Sass Jordan, a renowned rock singer hailing from Montreal, has passed away at the age of 63 after a successful career spanning nearly four decades. The news of her death was confirmed in a social media post on Saturday, stating that she passed away surrounded by her family, describing her as a unique force of nature and an irreplaceable source of light and joy.

The cause of her death has not been disclosed. Born in Birmingham, England, Sass Jordan was raised in Montreal. She rose to fame with her debut album, “Tell Somebody,” which was released in 1988. Her talent was recognized when she won the Juno award for the most promising female vocalist in 1989 and received multiple nominations for the best female vocalist category.

In 1992, Sass Jordan released her second album, “Racine,” featuring popular hits like “Make You a Believer.”
