“Kremlin Warns of More Drone Strikes on NATO Nations”

The Kremlin has issued a caution to the Western nations to be prepared for additional drone attacks following the recent strike on NATO territory in Romania. The blame has been placed on the UK and its allies for the escalating situation.

Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy head of the Kremlin’s security council and former Russian president, stated, “Let them be prepared as this will persist. There is a conflict.” He accused the West of instigating the war initiated by Putin, which has caused devastation in Ukraine, attributing responsibility to the leaders of NATO states. Medvedev emphasized that European countries are actively engaged in the conflict with Russia, providing support that leads to civilian casualties and property damage in Russia.

The recent incident involved a Russian drone crashing into a building in Galati, an eastern city in Ukraine. This marked the first time in Russia’s ongoing war on Ukraine that a drone struck a densely populated area within a NATO member state, resulting in injuries to two individuals.

Medvedev continued to direct blame towards the UK and its allies, specifically naming individuals like Ursula von der Leyen, Friedrich Merz, Emmanuel Macron, and Sir Keir Starmer as being complicit in the conflict. He accused them of being responsible for the recent terrorist attack in Starobilsk, where 21 students lost their lives.

Sir Keir Starmer condemned the attack as a severe breach of NATO airspace and denounced Russia’s aggressive actions against Ukraine, which jeopardize the security of the entire continent. He expressed the UK’s unequivocal condemnation of such assaults.

Despite facing widespread criticism, Medvedev issued a threat of more drone strikes similar to the recent incident, warning that citizens of EU states and those in conflict zones will face continued unrest. He urged accountability for the leaders he deemed responsible for prolonging the war.

Medvedev highlighted the involvement of European countries in supplying weaponry and intelligence for daily attacks on Russia, leading to civilian casualties and property destruction. The escalating rhetoric from Russian officials reflects a sense of urgency as Russian forces face challenges in the conflict with Ukraine.

Russian senator Dmitry Rogozin criticized Romania for its involvement in supplying weapons and ammunition to Kyiv, accusing them of being complicit in the war. He warned Romanian leaders to expect further escalations in the conflict.

In response to the incident, Romania and NATO announced plans to reinforce defenses, with Bucharest condemning the Putin regime for a significant and reckless escalation. Romania deployed F-16 fighters as a precaution, and later expelled a Russian diplomat from Constanta, designating the Russian consul general as persona non grata.
