Keir Starmer has reassured Ukraine of Britain’s unwavering support even after his departure from Downing Street.
During his final foreign trip before handing over power to Andy Burnham, Prime Minister Starmer met with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. President Zelensky honored Starmer with Ukraine’s prestigious ‘Order of Freedom,’ highlighting the strong ties between the two nations.
In the face of Russia’s unlawful invasion, Britain has stood steadfastly by Ukraine, a commitment that remains resolute according to Starmer. The Prime Minister emphasized the enduring support from all political parties and the determination of the British people in upholding values of freedom and democracy.
