“Jazz Aviation Reaches Deal with Flight Attendants”

Jazz Aviation has announced a new preliminary agreement with the union that represents its flight attendants. The company, a Chorus Aviation Inc. subsidiary, operates Air Canada Express flights to 65 destinations in North America. The specific terms of the deal, pending ratification, have not been disclosed. The Canadian Flight Attendant Union, which represents over 1,000 flight attendants at Jazz Aviation, had previously voted to go on strike if an agreement was not reached. The flight attendants have been working without a contract since the beginning of the year.
