“Former Royal Aide Shares Insights on William-Harry Reconciliation”

A former royal aide, who previously served both Prince William and Prince Harry and formed close relationships with them, has shared his perspective on whether the feuding siblings can reconcile.

Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who was the principal private secretary to the two princes from 2005 to 2013, had a significant role in guiding them during their early military careers. Prince William even appointed him as one of Prince George’s godparents and was involved with Sentebale, a charity honoring Princess Diana.

Following Lowther-Pinkerton’s tenure with the princes, reports indicate that the brothers have been estranged, allegedly not communicating since the passing of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, nearly four years ago.

In an interview with The Times, the former aide, now an author, refrained from commenting directly on the possibility of reconciliation but expressed admiration for Prince Harry, noting his positive qualities despite the rift. He also described William as the ‘Lion King’ and Harry as a ‘mischievous cub,’ emphasizing his affection for both.

Recent reports suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan may meet with King Charles, with whom Harry also has a strained relationship, during their upcoming visit to the UK. The couple has reportedly been offered accommodations at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle but has not confirmed their acceptance.

Their children, Archie and Lilibet, last saw their grandfather Charles during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022. The state of Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the Prince and Princess of Wales remains strained, with sources describing it as at “rock bottom” following public controversies and allegations made by the couple.

Despite denials from sources close to Prince William, Meghan and Harry have made contentious claims against the royal family, including accusations of racism and personal attacks in public statements and interviews. Meghan is expected to join Harry at an Invictus event in Birmingham, with Harry planning additional engagements with UK charities during their visit.
