A mysterious new island has been discovered floating in the Williston Reservoir in northern British Columbia, sparking intrigue among locals and B.C. Hydro. The forested landmass was first noticed by a boater and shared on social media, quickly gaining attention.
The island, estimated to be around 70 meters wide and 140 meters long, was located in the main body of the reservoir west of Finlay Bay.
