A man aged 26, identified as Gurbhej Singh, was tragically killed in a stabbing incident in West London. The incident occurred in Southall, Ealing, at 12:41 am on June 10, with the London Ambulance Service notifying authorities about the incident on North Road, close to Dormers Wells Lane.
Emergency services responded to the scene where they found two injured individuals. Despite efforts by medical personnel, Mr. Singh, who sustained a knife wound, was pronounced dead on site. The Metropolitan Police is providing support to his family through specialized officers.
Another man in his 30s, who was also injured, received treatment at a hospital and has since been discharged. Seven men, ranging from their early 20s to late 30s, were arrested on suspicion of murder. Following investigations, six were released without further action, while one individual was bailed for further scrutiny.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell of the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command stated that the investigation into Mr. Singh’s death is ongoing. The incident is believed to have occurred outside a shop at the junction of North Road and Dormers Well Lane around 00:30 hrs. Authorities are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with CCTV footage in the area to come forward and assist in the investigation.
