“Double Murder Suspect Apprehended in East Sussex”

A 58-year-old man has been accused of committing double murder following the discovery of two deceased individuals at a residence in East Sussex. The bodies of Adrian Horton, aged 66, and Uschi Schild, aged 46, were found early on Tuesday at a property in St Leonards-on-Sea.

Authorities responded to the incident on Seven Acre Close in St Leonards-on-Sea after receiving a report of a man and woman being harmed at the location. Subsequently, Sean Gray, aged 58 and without a fixed address, was apprehended at a different location on Battle Road. Gray is scheduled to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Detective Superintendent Jay Mendis-Gunasekera expressed condolences to the families, friends, and acquaintances of the deceased in light of the tragic event. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths. It is believed that the individuals involved were acquainted with each other, and no additional suspects are being pursued at this time.

Law enforcement continues to conduct inquiries at the site and its vicinity, with an increased police presence to support the ongoing investigations.
