Passenger Describes Chaos on Ryanair Flight to Ibiza with Drunken Behavior
A disgruntled passenger shared her experience of disorder during a recent flight to Ibiza with Ryanair, involving intoxicated passengers engaging in inappropriate behavior, including a couple entering the restroom together.
The passenger expressed concerns upon arriving at Dublin Airport, observing two groups of individuals displaying signs of intoxication and causing disturbances.
The situation escalated onboard, with one group of young men and another group of slightly older men and women behaving disruptively. Despite warnings from flight attendants regarding their conduct, both groups were served alcohol throughout the flight, as reported by Dublin Live.
The passenger recounted how the younger group was cautioned by the crew about their actions but persisted in playing loud music and consuming alcohol. She described witnessing distressing scenes, including a trembling young girl and an agitated woman due to the disruptive environment.
Furthermore, she detailed an incident where a shirtless man and a young woman entered a restroom together, receiving cheers upon exiting. Additionally, she mentioned another unsettling episode where a young man seated nearby made inappropriate advances towards passengers, leading to an intervention by a fellow passenger.
Upon landing at Ibiza Airport, paramedics and police were summoned to the aircraft. The disruptive passengers were met by authorities, with the shirtless man and two others from the group escorted off the flight by paramedics and police officers.
A Ryanair representative responded to the incident, indicating that due to disruptive behavior inflight, the crew refrained from serving alcohol to the unruly passengers from the bar. Despite repeated warnings, the passengers continued to consume alcohol purchased before the flight. The airline emphasized its zero-tolerance policy towards passenger misconduct and reiterated its commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all passengers and crew members.
