Four young men in their twenties tragically lost their lives in a serious accident when their car collided with a lamp-post in Merseyside. The incident occurred on Liverpool Road in Huyton shortly before 2 am on July 24. The vehicle, a black Seat Cupra, veered off the road and struck a lamp-post while traveling towards Knowsley.
Upon receiving the report, emergency services rushed to the scene. Sadly, two 23-year-old men and two others aged 24 and 26 were pronounced dead at the site. The authorities have informed their families, who will receive support from trained personnel during this difficult time.
A 27-year-old male passenger from the car was taken to the hospital and is currently in a stable condition. The police have sealed off the area to conduct a thorough investigation into the crash. Additionally, road closures on Liverpool Road and East Prescot Road are expected to remain in effect over the weekend.
