Tesco is offering complimentary ice lollies to over a million Clubcard members this week. Clubcard customers will find a digital voucher in their Tesco app, located in the coupon section. The promotion includes 11 different types of Tesco ice lollies, and the vouchers are valid until July 1 at midnight. These vouchers can be redeemed at both large stores and Tesco Express locations, excluding online purchases.
As part of the new Freebie Thursdays campaign, Tesco is distributing various coupons each Thursday. However, not all customers receive a coupon every week, as the selection is based on their shopping history. Past giveaways have featured Walkers crisps and Tesco cookie packs.
In related news, Tesco has introduced a version of its Clubcard tailored for 16 and 17-year-olds. This update opens up access to thousands of Clubcard Prices deals for approximately 1.6 million younger customers who were previously ineligible. The digital Clubcard for 16-17-year-olds is exclusively available through the Tesco app or website and requires an invitation from a parent or guardian’s Clubcard account to join.
Clubcard points are earned at the rate of one point for every £1 spent in Tesco stores or one point for every two liters of fuel purchased at a Tesco forecourt. Points can also be accumulated through Tesco Bank and Tesco Mobile, with additional benefits such as earning five points for every £4 spent using a Clubcard Credit Card at Tesco or one point for every £8 spent elsewhere. Moreover, Tesco Mobile customers can earn one Clubcard point for every £1 spent on pay monthly bills or top-ups. To receive a Clubcard voucher, a minimum of 150 points is required, valued at £1.50 for spending in Tesco.
Furthermore, customers can maximize the value of their Clubcard vouchers by doubling or tripling them when used with Rewards Partners like Pizza Express, Alton Towers, or Hotels.com.
