“Unruly Passenger Dies Mid-Flight Chaos on Jet2 to Manchester”

A passenger on a Jet2 flight to Manchester Airport shared a harrowing account of the chaotic incident that unfolded onboard, leading to a man’s death after being restrained. According to the witness, the disruptive individual, identified as Callum Kerr, engaged in aggressive behavior, including punching overhead lockers, banging on the cockpit door, and making threats to other passengers during the journey from Larnaca, Cyprus.

The witness described a distressing scene where children were crying as the situation with the unruly passenger escalated. Callum, a 35-year-old from Warrington, was reported to have exhibited signs of intoxication, shouting, and using profanity, as noted by witnesses who observed his behavior on the flight.

Upon landing at Manchester Airport, Greater Manchester Police responded to reports of an alleged assault on the aircraft. Officers intervened and discovered that fellow passengers had restrained Callum, who was later found to be unresponsive. Immediate medical assistance was provided, including CPR and the use of a defibrillator, before Callum was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, he passed away as a result of the incident.

The witness recounted the tense moments during the flight, mentioning how the situation escalated as Callum became increasingly aggressive and disruptive. Despite efforts by the cabin crew to manage the situation, the individual’s behavior continued to worsen, culminating in a violent altercation towards the end of the flight.
