“Duchess of Cambridge Returns to Royal Ascot After 3-Year Absence”

The Duchess of Cambridge is set to make her return to Royal Ascot today after a three-year absence from the prestigious racing event. Kate will join Prince William in the carriage procession, marking her first appearance at Royal Ascot since 2023, as she missed last year’s event due to undergoing cancer treatment.

In today’s carriages, Kate and William will be accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of Richmond and Gordon, while the first carriage will feature Lady Sarah Chatto and her husband Daniel, alongside other notable guests like political commentator Rory Stewart.

Prince Charles and Camilla will be looking for a victory at Royal Ascot as their horse, Point of Law, competes in the Queen’s Vase. The royal couple previously witnessed their horse Reaching High’s defeat on the opening day of the event.

Recently, William and Kate participated in the Trooping the Colour ceremony with their children and attended the Garter Day celebrations at Windsor Castle. Prince George also made an appearance at the King’s official birthday celebrations and is set to attend Eton College in the upcoming autumn term.

Notably, the royal couple, King Charles and Queen Camilla, commenced this year’s Royal Ascot with a traditional carriage procession, accompanied by close friends, the Duke and Duchess of Wellington. Princess Anne and her son, Peter Phillips, also made an appearance in the second carriage.

Charles and Camilla were spotted cheering on the horses from the royal box, joined by other members of the royal family. Despite their initial setback, the King and Queen have high hopes for their remaining horses in the competition.
