A fatal stabbing incident involving a 15-year-old boy has sparked a murder investigation in Dollis Hill, north-west London. The victim, Jamal Ringrose, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital following the attack on Saturday night.
Authorities swiftly responded to the scene of the crime, providing medical aid to Jamal before his transfer to the hospital, where he later passed away. Detectives have initiated a murder inquiry and extended support to Jamal’s family through specialized officers.
In connection to the incident, a 15-year-old suspect faces charges of affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public setting post his arrest. This individual appeared before Willesden Magistrates’ Court as confirmed by the police. Additionally, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old male were apprehended on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
The 15-year-old suspect remains in police custody on charges of possessing an offensive weapon and affray, while the 18-year-old has been released on bail. Detective Inspector Simon Ager, leading the investigation, expressed condolences to the victim’s family and urged potential witnesses to come forward with any information or relevant footage, including dashcam or mobile phone recordings from the site.
