The body of a teenage boy who had entered a lake in Leicestershire during the hottest day of the year has been found. Authorities were alerted around 1.30pm to Meynell Lake in Fosse Way yesterday, where they were joined by Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service. Subsequently, police divers were deployed, and Leicestershire Police has now confirmed the recovery of a person from the water.
