A 21-year-old teacher, Emily Greenwood, initially attributed her weight loss to being a busy mother until a concerning incident playing with her toddler led to a shocking diagnosis. Following a total thyroidectomy and neck surgery, Emily underwent radioiodine treatment in July and is now on the path to recovery.
