Protesters Charged with Violent Disorder in Southampton

Three individuals, including Henry Nowak protester Connor Bishop, faced charges of violent disorder in court following a protest in Southampton. Bishop, along with Noah Etherington and Reece Robinson, admitted to their involvement in the incident where objects were thrown at police officers during the protest outside Southampton Central Police Station. The court proceedings revealed details of Bishop’s prior assault convictions and his disregard for law enforcement.

At a separate court appearance, Daniel Frost admitted to violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon for his actions during the same protest, including throwing objects at police officers and using a dog lead to provoke law enforcement. Frost, with a history of criminal convictions, will be tried at Southampton Crown Court.

Another individual, military veteran Matt Styler, faced charges of assaulting an emergency worker during the protest. Styler, accused of kicking a police sergeant, pleaded not guilty and was remanded in custody pending further court proceedings.

The accused individuals were all linked to the protest that turned violent against police officers. The court sessions shed light on their actions and the legal consequences they now face. Additional arrests are expected as law enforcement reviews video evidence from the protest.
