A manhunt has been initiated following the tragic death of a devoted father who was fatally shot in Bradford.
The grieving family of Mohammed Hasan, 28, is appealing for individuals with any knowledge to come forward after his passing on Sunday.
Authorities are actively seeking 24-year-old Luqman Khan from Bradford in connection with the case. West Yorkshire Police reported that Khan may have traveled to Suffolk and could be in the Ipswich or Felixstowe regions.
In a statement issued after the demise of Mohammed Hasan, his family described him as a caring husband, father, son, and brother who always extended a helping hand to others and brought joy wherever he went.
The family emphasized the need for communities to unite and prevent such tragedies from reoccurring, urging anyone with relevant information to contact the West Yorkshire Police.
Law enforcement officers responded to an incident on Bradford’s Gaythorne Road where a man had sustained a gunshot wound to the head just before 11 pm on July 8.
A total of nine individuals have been apprehended in connection with the investigation, with four suspected of attempted murder and five of aiding an offender. Hasnain Akhter, aged 21, from Tichborne Road, has been charged with attempted murder and is in custody.
