“Man Named Santa Claus Arrested in Child Predator Sting”

In a recent police operation targeting child predators, a 75-year-old man, formerly known as George Quigley but now legally named Santa Claus, was apprehended by Kenner Police in New Orleans. Santa Claus was arrested after allegedly arranging to meet with someone he believed to be a 15-year-old boy, who turned out to be an undercover detective.

Charged with illegal computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with a juvenile, Santa Claus had discussed engaging in sexual activities with the supposed child and had made plans to meet in Kenner. Upon his arrival at the meeting spot, he was confronted by detectives and taken into custody.

Santa Claus was among 11 individuals arrested by Kenner Police in separate operations over the weekend. The police highlighted that Santa Claus, who had contacted the undercover detective through a dating app, personified the Santa Claus image, which was concerning given his intentions towards a minor.

Chief Keith Conley emphasized the risks posed by individuals exploiting children online and urged parents to be cautious. He stressed the commitment of law enforcement to identify and prosecute such predators before they harm children.
