Legal Battle Ensues Over Virginia Giuffre’s Estate

The former husband and daughter of the late Virginia Giuffre, a key figure in the Jeffery Epstein scandal, have been officially included in the legal dispute over her estate. Following her tragic death last year, which involved a reported £12 million settlement from Prince Andrew, there is now a complex legal battle to determine the beneficiaries of her wealth. The estate administration case involves her two adult sons, a daughter, and her estranged husband.

Supreme Court Justice Natalie Whitby recently ruled that Robert Giuffre and their minor daughter should be joined in the legal proceedings alongside the sons, Christian and Noah. The deceased did not have a formal will, prompting a debate between the sons and Ms. Giuffre’s barrister and former caretaker regarding an informal will allegedly written by her before her passing.

A court hearing earlier this year addressed the addition of Mr. Giuffre and the daughter to the sons’ claim, with the appointment of an independent guardian for the daughter to protect her interests. The recent court orders now officially designate the two as defendants in the case, with a scheduled court conference on July 3 in Perth.

The ongoing dispute revolves around the validity of the informal will claimed by Ms. Giuffre’s representatives, challenging the sons’ application to administer the estate based on the absence of a formal will. The estate’s handling remains uncertain, as the exact value is yet to be determined due to various civil settlements Ms. Giuffre received related to her past traumatic experiences with Epstein, including the significant settlement from Prince Andrew.

Separately, Buckingham Palace faces mounting pressure over allegations that Prince Andrew shared confidential information during his time as a trade envoy, with recent revelations prompting calls for an investigation into his activities and connections to Epstein. The Palace refrained from commenting due to an ongoing police inquiry into Prince Andrew’s conduct.
