A new TV judge, Adam Levy, is set to make his debut on a syndicated daytime courtroom series titled “Adam’s Law,” following in the footsteps of his famous mother, Judge Judy. The trailer for the show, released by CBS Media Ventures, showcases Levy’s sharp wit and no-nonsense approach similar to his mother’s renowned courtroom style.
Despite initial reluctance from Judge Judy to pass on the gavel, she now acknowledges Levy’s talent and potential to surpass her. The new series, executive produced by Judge Judy herself, is scheduled to premiere on September 14, five years after the conclusion of the original “Judge Judy” show, which enjoyed immense success over 25 seasons.
With over 25 years of legal experience, including serving as a district attorney and teaching trial advocacy, Levy emphasizes the importance of truthfulness in his courtroom. Judge Judy expresses confidence in her son’s abilities, anticipating that “Adam’s Law” will become a leading daytime program, appealing to the same audience that embraced her for three decades.
Levy, who has previously appeared as a judge on other courtroom reality TV shows, will bring his expertise to “Adam’s Law,” set to air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S. and on Citytv in Canada starting September 14.
