“Iran Issues Ultimatum: End Naval Blockade or Face Risks”

Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States, demanding the cessation of the US naval blockade or face grave risks and casualties. This threat comes in response to President Donald Trump’s ultimatum to the Tehran regime, offering them “one last chance” to end the conflict.

According to senior Tehran military adviser Mohsen Rezaei, US forces are reportedly running low on long-range weapons after targeting over 13,000 sites in Iran during the five-month conflict. Reports indicate that the US military has depleted its supply of surface-to-surface weapons like Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM, crucial for stand-off attacks to minimize counter-attack risks.

Additionally, it is suggested that the US is repurposing weapons from various bases worldwide to compensate for the dwindling stock of land-based weapons, diminishing US firepower globally. The depletion of expensive missiles, each costing up to £1 million, may restrict the US’s ability to sustain a prolonged conflict. Moreover, defensive weapons like Patriot missiles are also reportedly running low in the Gulf States, impacting supplies to Ukraine facing threats from Russia’s ballistic attacks.

Despite Trump’s aggressive rhetoric and hints of a major attack on Iran, recent observations show an 80% surge in US military activity in the Middle East, with preparations involving aircraft, ships, weapons, and ground defenses. While Qatar’s Foreign Ministry suggests progress in resolving the US-Iran conflict with a draft agreement in circulation, direct talks between Washington and Tehran have not yet materialized, contradicting Trump’s claims of ongoing negotiations. Trump has denied reports of missile shortages, asserting that the US possesses an abundance of munitions and is actively producing more.

In response to claims of a stockpile shortage, the White House released a statement from Trump emphasizing the US’s significant munitions capacity, surpassing global levels, and ongoing expansion of defense production facilities.
