A young child, aged four, was struck by a vehicle in a coastal town, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Merseyside Police received a call around 4:55 pm on Monday reporting the incident on the Promenade in the town center. The child was quickly transported to the hospital for precautionary measures.
Craig Alexander Murray, present at the scene, captured footage of an air ambulance landing at King’s Gardens nearby, although the child was ultimately taken to the hospital in a regular ambulance. Witnesses mentioned that three police cars and accompanying adults were on-site with the child.
