A man who flaunted his extravagant lifestyle on Instagram by showcasing luxury items like Rolex watches, driving a Lamborghini, and spending over £1,200 at Salt Bae’s restaurant has been sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in prison. Jordan Woolmer, 28, was convicted of dealing cocaine and cannabis after a four-year investigation by the police.
Authorities discovered several social media posts where Woolmer displayed his opulent life, featuring images of him driving high-end vehicles and posing with a Rolex watch in a Bentley. One picture captured him dining at Salt Bae’s Nusr-Et London steakhouse, where he ran up a bill exceeding £1,200, all paid in cash.
Woolmer, residing in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on June 12. The investigation was triggered when Woolmer and his co-defendant, Kacper Burzynski, were apprehended in Northampton in 2022, leading to the seizure of 450g of cannabis, 83g of cocaine, and £7,000 in cash.
During the probe, police recovered a £12,500 Rolex watch, £20,000 in cash from a rented property, and designer clothing from Woolmer’s residence. His fingerprints were later identified on over £14,000 found at a property in Leicester. Subsequently, his fingerprints were linked to 500g of cocaine discovered in a storage unit in Rutland.
On May 24, 2024, Woolmer was arrested again after authorities seized an additional 500g of cocaine, designer clothing, and £16,000 in cash from two properties in Burton Latimer. Throughout the investigation, law enforcement recovered £57,465 in cash, one kilogram of cocaine, 500g of cannabis, and clothing valued at £34,680.
Detective Constable James Roe from Northamptonshire Police expressed that individuals should not benefit from illegal earnings. He highlighted Woolmer’s attempt to live beyond his means and boast about his affluent lifestyle on Instagram. Roe commended the thorough investigation that led to Woolmer’s sentencing and emphasized the severity of the offenses committed.
In addition to the 10-and-a-half-year sentence for drug-related charges, Woolmer received one year and 10 months for violating a suspended sentence order, along with an extra three months for driving without a license. He was also banned from driving for seven years and three months. Co-defendant Burzynski, who admitted involvement in drug supply and possessing criminal property, received a 10-month suspended prison sentence for two years.
