The discovery of medical waste, including paraffin blocks and microscope slides, initiated a thorough investigation that led to the arrest of Magdalena H., a 57-year-old suspect from Zamość.
Magdalena faces charges for desecrating human remains and unlawfully disposing of hazardous materials, with a potential prison sentence ranging from two to 12 years if convicted. Authorities confirmed the remains as human foetuses after medical experts examined the scene. The property where the foetuses were found had been previously owned by Magdalena, who worked as a pathologist.
Although the current owners of the property are not implicated in the investigation, reports suggest that more foetuses may be unearthed, with estimates reaching up to 30.
