A man has tragically passed away after being fatally stabbed in the Crystal Palace area. The incident occurred at 3:39 am on Sunday, June 21, prompting law enforcement to initiate a homicide investigation.
Responding to a report of a stabbing on Westow Hill, authorities discovered a man in his thirties suffering from stab wounds. Despite the efforts of police and paramedics, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Another man in his thirties, also found with stab wounds, received treatment on-site and was subsequently transported to a hospital. Fortunately, his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening and non-life-altering. This individual has been detained on suspicion of murder.
In an official statement, the Metropolitan Police confirmed the launch of a murder probe in connection with the incident. Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee, leading the investigation, commended the swift response of law enforcement and medical personnel in providing assistance to the victim.
