A 68-year-old woman lost her life in a tragic incident when she was hit by a lorry while crossing Saracen Street in Glasgow. The fatal accident occurred at 11:10 am on Tuesday, leading to the woman’s immediate death despite the arrival of emergency services.
Authorities from Police Scotland are now seeking witnesses to provide information regarding the incident. Sergeant Chris McColm of the Glasgow road policing unit expressed condolences to the woman’s family and mentioned that investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing.
Sergeant McColm urged anyone who saw the crash to come forward and assist in the investigation. Additionally, drivers who were in the vicinity of Saracen Street at the time of the accident were asked to review their dashcam footage for any relevant details that could aid the investigation.
