One man was discovered deceased, while three others were swiftly transported to the hospital due to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at a residence.
Emergency responders promptly arrived at a residence in Mount Gambier, located in South Australia, where they found four individuals unconscious inside the building just before 9am on Saturday, July 11.
A spokesperson from the police department stated: “Following an incident in Mount Gambier this morning, the police are in the process of preparing a report for the Coroner. Responders were called to a residence on Penola Road after four individuals were discovered unconscious inside just before 9am on Saturday, July 11.
“Tragically, a 55-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other three individuals were rushed to the hospital for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning treatment. Authorities from Limestone Coast are conducting an investigation, and there are currently no suspicions of foul play.”
