A trial has revealed that Luciano Frattolin, a coffee CEO accused of his nine-year-old daughter’s murder, was found with condoms and unsettling notes in his car, including one labeled “confession.” Frattolin claimed that his daughter, Melina Frattolin, was taken by men in a van before being discovered deceased in a pond in Ticonderoga, New York.
Prosecutors allege that Frattolin, the head of Canadian coffee company Gambella, disposed of Melina’s body in a swamp in the Adirondacks after inconsistencies arose in his version of events. Investigations showed that both Melina’s and Frattolin’s clothing had traces of a suspicious substance.
Additional evidence presented in court included a document titled “closure/confession” found in Frattolin’s rented vehicle, containing derogatory remarks towards his ex-wife. The note suggested a potential press release and referred to Frattolin’s desire to gain custody of Melina.
Frattolin is facing charges of second-degree murder and concealing a human corpse in connection with Melina’s death. The trial continues as more details emerge about the case, including Frattolin’s alleged plans and disturbing notes found in his possession.
