A woman who departed from a bar without settling her bill was in for a surprise when she returned three years later and found out that the owner still remembered her. This incident has gone viral in Spain through the popular account Soy Camarero, which means ‘I’m a waiter’ in English, and has been widely circulated.
According to reports, the woman used to visit the bar on her scooter, order a beer, and always leave without paying, prompting the establishment to ask for upfront payment. Eventually, she vanished for three years after ordering a meal and leaving abruptly.
When the bar owner spotted her at another bar, he approached her for the outstanding payment. However, the woman did not provide any explanation or attempt to resolve the situation. Instead, she later posted a negative review criticizing the bar for requesting payment for a meal she had consumed years ago.
In her review, she expressed disappointment in the bar’s actions, questioning their empathy and understanding towards customers facing financial difficulties. Despite her negative comments, she rated the restaurant with three out of five stars for food, service, and atmosphere.
This story serves as a reminder of the impact of unresolved matters and the different perspectives people may have in similar situations.
