“Trump Warns China and Russia on Iran Support”

US President Donald Trump has issued a warning to China and Russia, advising them against involvement in the ongoing conflict with Iran. In a recent statement made on social media, Trump emphasized that any assistance to Iran by these nations would have detrimental consequences for them.

The conflict between the US and Iran escalated following joint military actions with Israel on Iranian targets. In response, Iran retaliated by attacking various sites in the region and disrupting the vital Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil trade route.

Efforts to bring an end to the conflict through a signed agreement between the US and Iran have so far been unsuccessful, with hostilities resuming in recent weeks. Trump disclosed that both Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin assured him that they would not provide weapons to Iran or its affiliated entities, reaffirming their stance during official meetings.

Despite ongoing tensions in other regions, including Ukraine, both Xi and Putin reiterated their commitment to refrain from supplying arms to Iran. Trump underscored the significance of their non-involvement in supporting Iran, highlighting that any contrary actions would not align with their best interests.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth acknowledged that classified information indicated China and Russia were indirectly supporting Iran’s activities. While specifics remain confidential, Hegseth admitted that these nations were enabling certain actions carried out by Iran.
