“‘World’s Worst Mother’ Faces Life in Prison”

A woman dubbed the ‘world’s worst mother’ could spend the rest of her life behind bars for allowing her husband to sexually abuse and impregnate their 11-year-old daughter.

Cherie Walker, a resident of Oklahoma in the United States, has been found guilty of facilitating her husband Dustin Walker’s sexual assaults, leading to potential multiple life sentences, as per reports from the Daily Mail.

Furthermore, she has been convicted on six counts of child neglect following the revelation that her 11-year-old daughter gave birth in unsanitary conditions at their Muskogee home, where the children were raised in squalor without basic necessities and amidst unsanitary living conditions.

Prosecutors asserted that Cherie Walker, aged 34, was aware of her husband Dustin, aged 35, sexually abusing their 11-year-old daughter but did not intervene to protect the child.

Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson expressed deep emotional distress at the situation, highlighting the gravity of a child being subjected to such abuse and neglect in their own home environment.

The shocking truth came to light when the girl was taken to the hospital after giving birth to her stepfather’s child, and a DNA test confirmed Dustin’s paternity with a 99% probability, as reported by news outlet KRJH.

Recently, Dustin Walker received his sentence for the crimes, expressing remorse during his court appearance.

Dustin pled guilty to multiple charges, including child neglect and sexual abuse of a minor under 12, without a plea deal, leaving his sentence entirely up to the Judge, resulting in a total of 42 years in prison and a life term for his crimes against a child.

Cherie Walker’s sentencing is pending after her conviction, while another adult in the household, Cherie’s mother Michelle Justus, is set to stand trial for child neglect charges on July 23.
