“Man Partially Sucked Out of Ryanair Plane in Mid-Air Drama”

A man on a Ryanair flight experienced a harrowing incident when he was partially sucked out of a damaged window mid-air. The flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen had to return to Greece due to an engine emergency, with debris hitting the window during the flight.

The pilot detected an engine issue over North Macedonia after departure from Greece at 5:55 am local time, prompting a return to Thessaloniki. While descending, a section of the damaged engine broke off, striking the cabin window and causing 61-year-old Ljubiša Karović from Serbia to be partially drawn out due to the pressure.

His wife, Svetlana Grković, heroically held onto his legs as he dangled out of the window. Fortunately, Karović was wearing his seatbelt, which helped prevent a more severe outcome. Other passengers rushed to assist and successfully pulled him back into the aircraft.

This incident serves as a reminder of the dangers that can arise during air travel, highlighting the importance of safety measures and quick response in emergencies.
