“Djokovic and Raducanu Set for Wimbledon Showdowns”

Novak Djokovic and Emma Raducanu have discovered their upcoming matches as the 2026 Wimbledon draw was revealed. The tennis stars are set to compete at SW19 in the prestigious tournament, the third Grand Slam of the year following the Australian and French Opens.

Djokovic aims to secure his 25th major championship and eighth Wimbledon title, seeking to end a three-year drought in Grand Slam victories. Raducanu, after her 2021 US Open triumph, looks to claim another major title.

Despite Raducanu’s past struggles at Wimbledon, she hopes to advance further this year. Both players face tough competition, with defending champions Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek also in the mix.

Raducanu’s first-round opponent is Croatian player Antonia Ruzic, who has not progressed beyond the initial round despite a decent singles record. Serena Williams, targeting her eighth Wimbledon title, will face Australia’s Maya Joint, a 20-year-old ranked World No. 53.

In the men’s singles, Djokovic will open against Yibing Wu, currently ranked 99th and yet to progress past the first round. Defending champion Sinner will face Miomir Kecmanovic in his pursuit of a second Wimbledon title.
