“Trump Boasts ‘Extreme Intelligence’ After Perfect Cognitive Test Score”

Donald Trump boasted about his recent cognitive test results, claiming he demonstrated “extreme intelligence,” despite the fact that the test does not measure intelligence.

The US President announced that he achieved a perfect score of 30 out of 30 on the cognitive test during his routine physical examination at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This marks the fourth time he has taken the test, and he asserted that he has scored perfectly each time.

At nearly 80 years old, Trump underwent a series of physical and mental evaluations, including the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), where he scored within the normal range according to a White House memo by physician Captain Sean Barbabella.

Taking to his Truth Social platform, Trump praised his exceptional results, claiming that achieving a perfect score on the test is a rare feat and a sign of “extreme intelligence.”

However, the MoCA test is not designed to assess intelligence but rather to identify early signs of dementia, not serving as an IQ test. Dr. Ziad Nasreddine, a key figure in developing the assessment, emphasized that the MoCA is intended to detect subtle cognitive impairments, not measure intellectual abilities or IQ.

The MoCA test evaluates various cognitive functions such as concentration, attention, calculation, language, memory, and orientation, with a score out of 30. Typically, a score above 26 indicates normal cognitive performance. Tasks in the test include naming animals shown in pictures, recalling word lists, and drawing clocks, providing doctors with an early indication of potential Alzheimer’s disease.

As Trump enters his second year of his second term, noticeable signs of aging, like bruising on his hands and swollen legs, have become apparent. The physician attributed the bruising to minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking coupled with aspirin use for cardiovascular health.
